Ricky is a Mental Health Counseling Intern at William James College, bringing four years of experience as a Therapeutic Mentor supporting clients from diverse backgrounds. His clinical background includes work with young adolescents, particularly around behavioral challenges, anxiety, and family-related stressors. In addition to his clinical work, Ricky has served as a Community Field Coordinator (Dean of Students) at a local high school and spent two years with AmeriCorps, running programs for middle school students and supervising a virtual program in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has developed conversational proficiency in Haitian Creole through his work supporting students and families in his current role and is comfortable using it to support communication with Haitian Creole-speaking clients.
Ricky is available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons/evenings on-site, and Fridays virtually. Outside of the therapy room, Ricky enjoys hiking, working out, riding his longboard, and unwinding with anime and video games.
