Hi, my name is Suyapa Allen. I understand reaching out for support takes courage, and I believe everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space where they feel heard and understood. My goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges while building confidence, resilience, and healthier ways of coping.
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. In addition to my work as a therapist, I serve as a School Adjustment Counselor, supporting youth through emotional, behavioral, academic, and family challenges.
I have a special passion for working with inner-city youth and children of color, helping them overcome barriers, build on their strengths, and recognize their potential. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, school-related concerns, family conflict, grief, and stress management.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy is a partnership, and together we’ll create a plan that helps you meet your goals and thrive.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
