Welcome. I am a licensed psychotherapist based in Rhode Island. I work with adults providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy. My goal is to create a compassionate and non-judgmental environment in which my clients are empowered to make changes and become their most authentic selves.

I have 20+ years of experience treating a variety of issues including: low self-esteem, anger management, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and life transitions. I have extensive experience treating substance dependence and recovery issues as well as co-dependency and adult children affected by addiction (ACOAs). 

My approach draws upon various clinical theories and modalities, such as Solution-Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.  I encourage insight into behavior patterns that no longer work and together we identify new coping skills and strategies.
